Maria Theresien Street is bursting with life between the shopping, cafes, and architecture you will find what you're looking for. The details of the buildings from the 1700's- 1800's are rather immaculate. These buildings serve as a backdrop for street performers and people bustling by to unknown destinations. Despite being exhausted, we made it a priority to stop and see St. Anna's Column.
The column dominates the center of the town and makes for a beautiful photograph with the Alps rolling in the background. Erected in 1706 it features the Virgin Mary perched atop. The beauty doesn't stop there though. Walk around and take notice of the opulent buildings that brighten the street in cheerful and vibrant colors. Sunshine or rain, this street is sure to bring life to an otherwise average day.
