Regensburg's Thurn & Taxi's does an amazing job at making this Christmas Market feel secluded like it was deep in the woods. In reality it's right in the middle of the city. You can see small alpacas, walk the center of the schloss while the aroma of gluwhein and chimney cake floats through the market. I enjoyed the rustic feeling of this market and how at times it reminded me a tiny bit of Guteneck which is my favorite market.
There were plenty of fire pits to keep you warm and a good amount of stands selling wool products, ornaments, and home decor. I purchased the Santa ornament below from one of the stands near the entrance and of course my husband & I were drawn to the crystals. We always enjoy eyeing them. The entrance fee was 8.50 per person which in my opinion is a bit pricey for nothing was extremely unique to me about the market.
