I am loving this autumn weather. With Halloween around the corner I think visiting cemeteries like St. Sabastian in Salzburg is the perfect thing to get you in the mood. This one reminded me of the ones back home in Savannah & Roswell, Georgia. I love the history & variety of emotions cemeteries make me feel. I was always doing ghost tours in the South.
The old photo below of the little boy on his headstone washed me over with an unsettling & sad feeling, while the statue with vines growing around it made me feel hopeful, and the headstone with the glowing candle made me feel happy that people still visit & bring light to the ones they love in the afterlife. Has anybody been to any beautiful or spooky ones here in Bavaria?
