Walhalla is a building that houses German national monuments. It was explained to me as being the German Hall of Fame. King Ludwig I wanted this monument built after a defeat by Napoleanic armies. The building of Walhalla started in 1830 and was completed and opened in 1842.

The architecture was heavily based off of the Panthenon in Athens. Every 5-7 years since 1962 more new busts are selected and added by the Bavarian Council of Ministers. The originals were carefully chosen by Ludwig and his advisors.

Walhalla seems pretty amazing and beautifully crafted.I have even took my Breakfast with me to be able to enjoy my entire day at Walhalla exploring the good it holds. Thanks for the tips though
