The Westminster Cathedral is the largest Catholic church in England and Wales. It was started in 1895 and completed in 1905. The church has plenty of visitors and it's not difficult to see why with the stunning architecture. Even Queen Elizabeth II visited as part of her Silver Jubilee Celebrations in 1977. Then in 2010, Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Mass in the cathedral during his four day visit to the U.K.
The Westminster Choir gives performances at the church and abroad as well. They have performed at many of the most popular concert halls in Britain and other prestigious locations. In recent years the choir has played in Belgium, Milan, Hungary, and even the U.S.A. They record albums in addition to performing, the first being in 1907.
